Andy (Cecil) Anderson, PT

Andy received his Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Medical College of Georgia in 1989. In 1993, he founded Decatur Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, and is the current owner. Andy worked as a physical therapist and athletic trainer for track and field at the 1996 Olympic Games. Andy has been a physical therapist for almost 25 years. Some of the patients he treated in his first years continue to choose Andy when they need PT now.

Chuck (Charles) Owen, PT

Chuck received his Bachelors in Industrial Engineering degree in 1990 from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was a 3-year letter man on the Football Team. He then received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997 from the University of North Georgia and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009 from Alabama State University. Chuck is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Physical Therapist and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.

Chuck has 18 years experience working with athletes, industrial workers, weekend warriors, non-athletes and retirees. He spends one-on-one time with each patient and works with them to create a treatment plan that is individualized and specific to their needs and goals. He emphasizes the patient’s overall health and well-being. Outside of work, Chuck spends time with his wife Jurine and daughter Sarah Paisley. They are involved with various sports activities and enjoy exercising together when possible.
